It doesn’t fall to many men to murder a genius.—TH

I don’t necessarily agree with “murder” but I’m so angry that she’s gone and angry at him so I’m not going to bother to correct him.

He completely abandoned her, has an affair with multiple women, said horrible things to her, lied and deceived her, told her their marriage had been a prison and/or a sham, but when she—desperate and alone—sought the comfort of someone else after they’ve already been separated, he has the unmitigated gall to be pissed off about it. For YEARS. 🤬

…and seeing [friends] as often as I like and generally changing myself without the terrible censorship of somebody like Sylvia confining my every impulse and inclination.

…while she’s devastated and taking care of your children in the house in the sticks you insisted on buying.

It seems like my progress is slow, but these pages are massive! And oh God, we’re coming to the end. 😭

My dislike of Ted has now begun to deepen…
