rudo very genuinely trying his absolute best to put on a "normal" smile is as hilarious as it is devastatingly relatable!!!! when am i NOT hyperaware of how much or how little eye contact i'm making or how wide i'm smiling or if i'm just generally failing this unspoken social test of "normal" interaction

ANYWAY i'm stoked to learn more about the ground and its government (?) and class system, especially after hearing that zanka is a spoiled rich kid. what does being rich look like on the ground? how did zanka end up a cleaner? how are givers treated generally? are they revered or rejected or hidden away entirely?

RUDO WAS RAISED RIGHT oh my god it's refreshing to see a shonen protagonist be so emotionally mature like this kajshaljhdlahj also he looks his age (i'm assuming he's around 14??) which is just as refreshing. watch me be totally wrong about that and look like an idiot
