Spice in chapter 36. Kyle’s car is vandalized by Carson. So Carissa and Kyle got to his moms to take her to the cemetery on what would have been Lily’s 24th birthday. Mama Tucker lights up when she meets Carissa & screams in pain when she hears Kyle thinks he’s unloved. Kyle gets suspended from work for hitting Carson. But goes to talk to his mom. Family dinner at Grandmama’s

Some spicy time. Followed by Carissa trying to relieve Kyle of his guilt.

Carissa graduates. And Kyle finally gets the girl after 3 years of waiting. Plenty of built up sexual frustration between the two. Heidi walked in on them making out in the kitchen. They had her graduation and then a party at Brantley and Clara’s and now they are at Kyle’s house finally getting together. Spice starts in chapter 17. And then 18.

Kyle is a firefighter and best friend of Hendrix and he has a fierce protectiveness over little girls after losing his little sister. Carissa is the woman of the family after losing her mom 4 years ago. She works at the Shelter with her sister Heidi, Maddie, Shelby, Hope & Clara. She helps take care of her family and the bills. And just met Kyle at Maddie’s bachelorette party.

Well, that was a sad opening. The story of Kyle and Carissa. Kyle’s little sister, Lily was kidnapped and maybe murdered when he was 12 years old.
