Started this book MONTHS ago but I'm finally finishing it now! Thus far, I don't really know what to make of it tbh.

one thing i'll never understand about men writing sci-fi/high fantasy is why they simply not age up their characters if they're so interested in writing sex scenes/innuendo? and what's up with the incest?

I hope the pace picks up again. Alia's character is probably the most butchered, but at least I like the idea of the Preacher.

the fact that i was so excited to read over the holidays and i haven't read a single page bc my to do list just got longer and longer... call me boo boo, the fool. imma try this week tho lmao, wish me luck!

thank God (quite literally lmao) for the Easter holidays bc this book is exciting as heck and i can't wait to binge it over the next few days! i am thoroughly enjoying myself and Miss Jessica is in my good books again! let's f'em up, queen!

Really digging this! Herbert set up an exciting plot and I have so many questions!

I can't be the only one who thinks that Herbert's writing style is really improved in this book? It reads so smoothly and coherently whereas book 1 and 2 were wild af on many fronts.
