I am kind of disappointed that I don't like this book as much as its precedent book. I'm not sure whether that's the case because the break I too of it was way too long, or because I'm not used to the writing style anymore, but the first book seemed so much more interesting ...

I think I don't like the writing style currently because it feels like a summary of what is happening, not the actual description of it. It's also full of details but somehow leaves out crucial aspects?

I remembered this being written better somehow? Everything is kind of fast-paced right now. I know it's been, like, six months since I last read this but this is not as good as I remember.

Pausing this for now because I can't deal with them being all lovey-dovey right now

I don't really know why but it's harder for me to get into this than it was for the first book
