This very much reads "first novel" and not in a good way. The son, Dante, is over the top annoying. Dom is possessive is a gross way. And my god, Mila's jealousy and bitchiness when there's another woman around is so irritating.

So 38% through and they’ve made up and Mila is giving Dom a chance. Which is wonderful because they’re so toxic, you know it will only be smooth sailing from here.
