sometime during my PiF reading i stumbled upon an outlander forum doing chapter by chapter book club readings of each lymond book and: thank god i found them. they're getting me through this D E N S E russia section. so much history! so much happening to lymond under the surface! so MUCH to wade through to get to the heart of it!

Every Philippa chapter is a slay, a delight, I LOVE the Crawfords so much (and wtf is that actually the family secret??? Wtf??). The Russia chapters.... god. Sorry. For so much of the series being about Francis trying to establish an elite band of mercenaries it really is the most tedious content
