God dammit, the first book was so meh but Luther made me want to go on to the second one and fuck me it's actually good, yes Diem is still the dumbest person ever and you just want to slap her for listening to Aemmon etc But the political intrigue, Luther, Eleanor, Taran, Alixe and Diem when she's not being brain dead are actually fun characters and damn Luther is a hell of a guy 😍
