I really enjoy listening to John Green narrate his books. He is such a passionate guy and he is so very human.
The insights about faith and/or spiritual healers in the section I’m in are enlightening for me. It makes sense that if your healthcare system is unable to provide assistance that turning to faith based care, that at least values your humanity, is common and not without merit.

I wish John Green had been my biology/life science teacher because it was always the science class that bored me. (Ironic considering the environmental science degree I know).
The connection between traditional western beauty standards and TB is fascinating. I also was really interested in Green’s discussion of the idea of a “natural” and/or “good” death. ‘What is natural really’ is a good question
