God, I'm ready to bawl my fuckin eyes out. I knew the angst was coming. Different from what I was expecting, but damn, it came. And I 100% called that the time jump would open with alex married to a woman :(

Wow, I went in with low expectations (I've hit a few stinkers lately), but this is really good so far. I'm having to google shit like every other paragraph (bands, celebrities, movies), and usually I hate having so many pop culture references in a book because it dates it, but in a case where it is specifically set in the 90s and therefore semi "historical", I actually like it.
