A decent account of the life of an overlooked jazz giant. It’s straightforward and might have gone deeper into Cannonball Adderley’s character but I think the publisher might have wanted something fairly compact. Still, my admiration and appreciation for him has grown and I’m inspired to go deeper into the Cannonball catalog.
