I think it will be a hate read from now on. In the span of 20 pages he asked her to move in (she though he was about to propose, but they have been dating for like 5 seconds so what), thought she’s breaking up with him cause she didn’t return his text for one afternoon, her ex came back which made zero sense, the ex fiasco ended but 5 pages later she loses her lease and break ups with Carter?

The spice is good but it doesn’t reconcile with how the characters are portrayed in the rest of the plot. I hate such inconsistency 🙄
