Yknow what I think it is that makes this book hard for me to want to pick up? Is it feels so high stakes all the time. That because everything is constantly life or death it’s like…Nothing ~actually~ matters? And maybe that’s the point, that being a final girl is exhausting. Maybe?

There are some corny ass lines in this book, and I’m not sure if it’s because the author is corny or if it’s just because the book and the nature of Final Girls is a little campy yknow?

I surely hope Lynette and Skye do not fuck

The way this book melts reality and horror film fiction together is really interesting and creates for an interesting half-realistic world if that makes sense
