Jumping around in this book reading different sections for a class

I'm rereading this for a class starting in a few weeks.

Oh, Plutarch! Why did you start with Thesseus? I wanted a "history" of Athens. Not a seemingly huge section on a mythological character. Will keep plowing through. I'm reading an e-book so am unclear when this section will end. Hopefully soon!
