I’m barely 10% into the book and I don’t know if I should DNF it because SPOILER the mom is sexually assaulting her son. Yes. She is not in her right mind but it’s just… did you really have to? Why do authors (men) do this with their characters, specially women? SA them of make them commit SA.

I'll read, what, two chapters more and then I'll decide if it's a soft dnf, dnf or if i'll keep reading it. so far, i don't think it's very TLOU coded... i can slightly, VERY SLIGHTLY, but honestly, nope. the message, that in essence i can agree on, is, sadly, too in your face, not subtle at all. i feel as though that is a trend in media, as of lately. :( let's hope it changes for the better.
