chapter 26 killed me. I'm dead because of chapter 26. also, reading this as a break between one ep of hxh and the other WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

first of all, the worldbuilding and the magic system are simply extraordinary; I'm so fascinated by everything about this book. The history behind Daevabad is heartbreaking, just as Dara family history. I can't wait to keep reading.

I've read the first hundred pages so far and they've already been super intriguing. The vibes is so well portrayed. The characters are so good. The characters are so good. The magic system? so original and unique.
