Ok, I’m like 73% through and although I’ve enjoyed the world building, I’m afraid I have to DNF this one. I couldn’t see how Chlore and Spade came to love each other through no bonding—it was just rushed and I didn’t have a connection to their romance. To be honest, I’m more interested in Maverick, the villain, than anyone else because of the mystery that surrounds him—sadly, he’s a minor character
