Not as engaging as people made it out to be. This part felt unnecessarily disturbing. I expected a story about everyday trauma and quiet struggles, but it’s starting to feel more like an Oliver Twist levels-of-suffering novel and unfortunately I have a problem with leaving a book in the middle of it.
