Okay I’m dumb because I just realized this is a YA novel and that’s why everything feels so juvenile to me 🤦🏽♀️. Like I have more chemistry with a bag of chips than these two main characters have with each other. I’m going to finish the book but won’t continue with the series.

I got this book on Libby as a skip the line loan so I gotta speed read it in a week. This may just be because I’m reading it fast but I feel like the only intelligent character in this book is Verity lol. I’m astonished the FMC has made it two years without being caught, and the MMC doesn’t seem much better. The plot is interesting so I’m going to finish, but I need these characters to be smarter lol.
