This is a book you have to let just wash over you. It’s a feat to get through it - but it is worth it. The writing couldn’t be more beautiful, and even though it’s disjointed and surreal, it comes together somehow to make an odd sort of sense in the end. I got a lot out of it. I took my time with it, reading it in pieces over actual years, so it really feels like I just concluded an odyssey.
