I figured out another reason why this book is difficult to be inspired to keep reading; there are way too many breaks within each chapter. I understand it's a tactic used sometimes to indicate a change of character perspective, but it is completely overused in this book, to the point where I, the reader, cannot get into a rhythm reading. Just this one past chapter, of 16 pages, had 10 breaks within it.
