I read this wrong so to me the whole thing sounded very deadpan. Then I saw that the woman was drawn like she was in obvious distress 😬

It is this kind of shit that lowers my enjoyment of reading comics made by men. I know it isn't an conscious thing and who knows, it may have some reason behind it. Still it feels icky nonetheless.
