RedFoxBookworm said "Keris, you're fired, I'm taking over," and pulls the freaking navy out of nowhere when the readers had been led to believe the commandant destroyed it, and reintroduced the commandant's father to the picture so Keris would fully realize she'd lost, arrested her, and simultaneously scared away the attacking ships.

Like, okay girl, slay ✨️

It was honestly such a Kaz Brekker move and I've gotta respect that.
