So much respect to Jane Austen for her referring to marriage as "a trial of the state".

My first thought after waking up a few days ago was, "What if Jane Austen had lived longer and wrote more books?" :')

So Fanny is a little annoying, but in a way like Miss Bates since she is the way she is due to her circumstances.

Edmund is a bit annoying too, although this is because he has a "better than thou" notion about himself ("~I~ must be the role model clergyman in my town") and he's kinda selfish (Fanny slips out of his mind when his mind is full of Miss Crawford).

And with those uncalled for insults, I am for the bed.

Yet some happiness must and would arise from the very conviction that he did suffer.

Fanny being as toxic as anyone with her unrequited love skdhfklsdk.

I think it's hilarious that Fanny & Edmund are 18 and 24* 'cause they're out here talking about "tainted minds" and judging everyone and they're not even adults XD

*24 would normally count as adult but with Edmund's life experience...nah

Fanny reminds me a bit of Jane Fairfax.
