This was a fast read, it moved quickly. There was a bit of disjointed feeling as we were not given the history of events... just what the outcome was. Our dear Colonel had a different name so that was disconcerting.

This was a free book offer on Amazon. It is the first of four books that chronicles the love story of the lesser characters in P&P. This one features Kitty Bennet. Other books will dwell on Georgiana, Mary and Maria Lucas. I found that odd as we rarely see Maria as the main character in a variation.
