Wordslut is a good one to get into - though written non-fictionally. Also, The Dictionary of Lost Words (fiction, not non-fiction like I originally thought).

Legends & Lattes might be up your street too. I think it’s more your thing than mine
@katie i read legends and lattes! it took me out of a reading slump a couple years ago haha. non-fiction tends to drag for me but i do like it when i get into the mood!
