Dr. Ehrman is someone whom people have strong opinions about. I chose to read this after he had recommended it as a starting point from which to approach his non-academic publications.

Overall, I find his reasoning sound. He has been able to provide historical context as well as describe how the thinking about what Christianity is has changed over time.
