though this ticks off every box of what i should like in a book, i am still surprised that im enjoying it. MC is a little irking with how often she brings up her gripes with the church, but i acknowledge that’s the gag and it’s also a YA book— however, is this book going to get gayer? i am impatiently waiting.

lowkey zoned into the MC saying she drove 4 hours to the eras tour but she lives in dayton which means she went to the nashville show and not the cinci show 🧐🧐🧐🧐

this book being set in ohio is wild, especially because the author's other book (which i had to DNF 3 but i will be getting back to eventually bc its about a queer country start DUH) takes place in nashville... should be up my alley...
