It is physically impossible for it there to be enough F in my what the F when talking about this book. I expected a lot, but this exceeded everything. I haven't seen such an undisguised effective attempt at a genocide of neurons in a long while. So much unnecessary... stuff, I'm at a loss. I'll finish the last chapter because it's too late to give it up but seriously, what?

I don't know why I'm subjecting myself to this. It's the highest caliber of pulp there is, so, linguistically speaking, it's not even written all that well. But it's not its fault, it's mine.
The characters seem fairly interesting so far, don't know much yet but hey, they seem like actual people and that's a plus. Another plus is the end of this 1st chapter. Now I actually want to find out what's going on there.
