It's interesting to read a book set so soon after the Horus Heresy. Most 40k books are set millenia after so we only really see the mythology of it, but here the wounds of the heresy are still really present and impact the Wolves and how they interact with a post Scouring Imperium. So far this is proving that Space Wolves are alot cooler than the shoddy meme culture of 40k lore discourse portrays them as.
