A whistle stop tour of some big Classical concepts, texts, and reception examples and theories. Suitable for A level students but anyone who has studied classical civilization beyond may not benefit much. The chapter on Christianity’s place in classics however was insightful. Everything else felt quite surface level and doing a similar thing to Stephen Fry’s Mythos or Mary Beards SPQR. This is for a hobby classicist
