i really love how sally rooney includes conversations with her characters that are not mundane and sometimes broach on unconventional but come off as casual in her stories. specifically in this chapter which was chapter 8 margaret and ivan are talking about religion and what it means to them; sometimes religion is a tough subject to talk about but they both have different opinions and express them so causally. i love
