This is a fascinating insight into Indigenous way of life pre and early colonisation. He uses written accounts of explorers and the early settlers to describe how the aboriginal people used and changed the environment to provide food, shelter, culture. A book that focuses not just on the past, but the future. Highly recommend. I would hope that this finds its way into our schools
