For the second this since starting this book, I had to shred a tear. In my life I’ve had to deal with a lot of things, bad things;
But mourning for someone I truly love has luckily not been one of those things.
And I feel like I’d rather never know, knowing I’ll atleast endure it once in my life
Damn these pages hurt.

It has to get worse before it gets better, is wat people usually say (or the other way around depending on what people you ask). Usually I don’t like this trope in books, but it’s much needed in this big ass pill.
But I also feel like it’s gonna get worse again, otherwise this book wouldn’t be such a succes.
Let’s find out.

Well.. that took a dark turn…

Finally, things are getting good…
Well ‘good’ isn’t really a definition I should be giving to this part of the book, it’s really devastating and world wrecking to be honest.
Before the last passage, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go through with this book since I felt nothing had happened in the last 300 pages except for some world building.
But those pages might have been needed for the understanding of

During the second part of the book I had some serious doubt whether or not I could stand reading from Jude’s perspective. It began very straight to the point, all ‘show no tell’, and it really bothered me. But after a good talk about it with a customer of mine I started realising that his perspective suits Jude. The diary chapters were great and the buildup to the adoption of Jude were so sincere and realistic.
