the coming neo feudalism reminds me of “winners take all” except they complement each other. slotkin focuses on the broader state of the neo-feudal order while winners is focused on this “expert” class of global individuals telling us how to live, how to think, what to do, when to do it, but not truly challenging the status quo or critically examining their own role in creating the challenges and problems humanity finds itself in.
