What a tragic end to a lovely lady. If she had not been caught between two scamming parents, she could have lived her life out with her true love in the countryside with many children and her sisters nearby. So sad that period of time.

I feel for poor Lady Jane and Edward. To be betrothed to a boy you love in the 1500s is almost unheard of. Women were property and were sold off to the top bitter, especially the wealthiest. Not only does Jane have to marry a boy she doesn't like but will be Queen for 9 days and later lose her head? It's a fast-paced novel & I am finding Lady Jane Grey's story very interesting.
