I just finished reading chapter 40 where I get the point of view of Bam for the first time. She agrees to do something for Hayden, a character introduced in the previous book, but in agreeing to Hayden's request, she feels as if "she's making a deal with the devil" (Unwholly, 270). I get the feeling that their conversation plays a pivotal role in the plot line for the Storks, a group of kids on the run from the law.

Cam and Connor are reluctantly working together to bring down Proactive Citizenry. They both feel that the institution is "funding something very, very dark" (Unsouled, 327). The encounters with Roberta, a Proactive Scientist, also suggests the same idea. She is hiding something and becomes flustered when Cam's questions are too close to the issue. I wonder what could be worse than stealing kids' body parts?
