This book is doing too much and not enough all at once

Bruh. This “twist” is so stupid. Also side note, there incestuous half sibling marriage?!??

I just don’t believe any of it.

These characters fucking suck. I didn’t love the first book but i at least enjoyed it. They are all so fucking whiny and pathetic. And the world building is so half-baked.

Honestly I’m just hate-reading this at this point. For a traditionally published book I’m appalled at 1) how blatantly this series rips off others before 2) how REPETITIVE the prose is. My god WE GET IT. Ever heard of “show don’t tell” well god damn do these characters wax on and on about their issues to the point where i just hate them.

This is so weak.
