Livy is getting a bit repetitive, and I have to admit I'm a bit lost in it. So I'm going to try this more "contemporary" (1850s) Theodor Mommsen behemoth as a concurrent read with Livy to stay on course and triangulate what's happening and who's who. So now I'm reading two gigantic histories of Rome at the same time. I have a few centuries to go in this one to catch up to Livy, though.
