Hmmm. I imagine that this novel is supposed to be about Malik, but each chapter switches between narrators, which jars me out of the story every time. Even though the narrator is named at the beginning of each new chapter, I still find it confusing. This novel is definitely not as good as the first one. To be true to its title, Malik should narrate the entire story. Or it should be an omniscient narrator.
