They get back to the Gray house where the family is currently staying until Taurus watch is rebuild with no traces of the late King. Kasi is on her way home.

Jase & KAZI’s wedding with a priest officially happens, despite the temple being blown up, the altar still stands. They celebrate Vanden traditions with the priest, blessing. the Ballinger kids abduct Jace to be dunked in the plaza fountain, a tradition.

At the Kings farm, they find the grave and hear the story of what happens to KAZI’s mother. She worked on the land for a short time before the widowed, King took her as his wife. She didn’t speak the language and had a lot of anger and rage fits. She died of a brief illness before being able to produce any male heirs for him. Kazi mourns at her grave with Jase.

Kazi and jase find ZANE in the barn. He has the papers and he brags about it and that he’s going to be a very rich man cause he goes after him. He taunt her that she’s trash despite marrying JASE, and she manages to stab him in the gut. He finally tells her that her mother is in the hills of the Kings Farm.

JASE and the king still go at it and JASE manages to wound the king with his own knife. The king dies with the words on his lips. The people thought I was a good… Believing his own delusions to his dying breath.

Jason offers to duel the king. Never won for a fair fight Bank joints in and WREN, SYNOVE and KAZI join in the fight to try to protect JASE.

Kasi recovers that night the next day they make a plan and go back to tours watch just a team of eight back at horse watch they managed to overpower Zane‘s guards and blow up part of the building. With kerosene. They go to the arena in Hell‘s mouthafter picking up a few extra soldiers. They come across Bank and the king to their surprise. They have JALAINE. She’s alive, but just barely.
