I didn’t realise this when watching the series but it’s realistic the way things went: Con trying to solve it on his own, then Jere asking Belly to help bc they’re best friends (or at least that’s what they say), Belly joining bc of the way she feels about the boys and then them partying and feeling like they make logical choices and then eventually Laurel coming & fixing things. Also the fight. Props to Jen!

Belly and Conrad deserve each other. Belly makes crazy designs and Con is difficult and stubborn. Jere deserves someone who loves him as much as he loves Belly and that’s not Belly

Jere is literally the best person in this series. Both of his parents clearly prefer Conrad and he’s still such a nice guy. I’d be an asshole if this was my life. (I reject the cheating-plotline. Jere wouldn’t do that)

Why am I 50 pages further and do I feel like there hasn’t happened much?

I love Conrad but if I were Belly I’d be obsessing over Jer for real
