Plot: 4.75 I thought it would be cliche tournament plot but it is actually way more. I didn’t expect some staff and gasped so many times.
Entertainment: solid 4. Stakes were high, odds against. I was hooked and interested how it would progress.
Romance: 4. The pace fitted the story. No insta love. Slow burn.
Excited for the next book. 4.25 stars

Couple chapters in and omg, why did it take me so long to pick this book? I knew author had a great reputation and book revived a lot of love. Was I prolonging it intentionally? Anyway, the writing is so nice. Author has a way to beautifully use metaphors. I’m looking forward to reading this.
