35% and almost 7 hours in... waiting for some redeeming qualities in this cast of characters. I do not mind Penelope and her lifestyle. The rest of them are shallow and too straight forward. I would like to see some depth and/or character growth soon.

Why am I still listening to this? Because I'm doing my library's summer reading program, I got 8 hours into it while I was painting a room one day, and the narrator has a sophisticated British accent. That's about it. Only another 6 hours of the 19-hour-long audiobook to go... 💪

Starting chapter 8, audiobook at 6:48:00. 36% complete. Not super invested but wouldn't mind listening more in the future. Saving my spot to remember, my audiobook is due back soon. Not saying it's a DNF but on pause.
