What a fascinating subject. Have you read her Pale Rider yet?

I have not. I guess I'll have to now! This book is oddly dovetailing into my reading of The Call of the Honeyguide. Two chapters I was reading at the same time were both talking about the same time period in history, the steppes north of the Black Sea, as well as the role the domestication of horses possibly played historically.
