I picked this ARC on 100% a whim, but my god this is really good. And this is 100% from a male perspective and somehow I still like it? Kudos to S.E. McPherson, you’ve done the impossible

This is so interesting and also what a mystery. We’ve got political intrigue, forbidden love, longing, enemies. I’m also not totally bored even though there hasn’t been a single romantic scene yet.
