Edie is a heartbreakingly relatable character. I want to cry for her, but I don’t have the tears. She seems to have really blossomed into a woman at the end of the story. The ugly traumas and truths she had to process to get to the other side of adult/womanhood should have broken her spirit. But it did not, she was an interesting person to read about.
