this is off to a weird start-- immediately after meeting and pretending to be engaged, he starts lecturing her about the rules of lying to people, ignoring her perfectly reasonable questions, and continuing to lie and obfuscate? this is not a meet cute, it's a meet frustrate. he better have good reasons cus right now i have nothing but side eye for him.
