Spoilery rant. Plus the whole 'daddy' thing between Damien & Diane is just weird. With only 5 years between them and them having met at 16/11 why would she call him Daddy. Why not call him by his name? It would be different if she had been a total when they met. Plus I find it hard to believe the authorities would agree to the adoption.

I don't think I can read anymore and it's not for the reason everyone else hated this book. I'm not enjoying it at all, I don't really like either character (but at this point it is actually Jake I'm having the most issues with). And honestly nothing is happening. They drink coffee, they eat steak, they talk but don't really say anything or listen to each other. I'm bored.
