I feel like it's getting more and more into cringe romance territory as it goes on. Like the arguments between Evelyn and Celia are just getting very petty. It's sorta becoming a 'sexed up abusive lesbians' situation and that is starting to become boring. Like it can be a bad romance, but I feel like it lacks a lot of the nuance that it could have, as especially Celia feels like a pretty flat character.

As far as YA goes so far I'm enjoying this quite a bit. The story itself is quite intriguing and although the main character does follow a good amount of the YA conventions there is also a lot of originality with her. Honestly I don't know weather this is even actually considered YA? Though it's not the most intellectual it's definitely been written for older audiences.
